The Ghana BodyBuilding team of Ghana, Black Muscles will not be represented at the African Bodybuilding Championship in Angola, totalsportsgh.com can confirm.
The IFBB sanctioned Championship for only African countries commences today 16th August and ends tomorrow 17th August 2019.
After a very good outing at the 2019 Arnold Classic where they chalked huge success by winning three gold medals among others, the stage was set for these gallant athletes to repeat on that performance at the Angola Competition.
However, at the 11th hour, it was established that Ghana will not be represented at the championship which promises 6 PRO Cards for the overall winners.
According to officials of the Ghana Bodybuilding And Fitness Association (GBFA), the athletes’ inability to make the trip to Angola was due to financial reasons as none of them (the athletes) could raise enough money to foot their bills.
