GEC Open, one of the most-awaited premium corporate golf tournaments in the World returns to Ghana for the fourth consecutive time and this year the trains stop at the Achimota Golf Club after the first round at the Royal Golf Club in Kumasi.
With expected participation from over 150 corporate executives and industry stalwarts, the tournament will be held on the 7th and 14th September at the Royal Golf Club and Achimota Golf Club respectively.
This year, GEC Open Ghana plans to commence its activities with ever the first Golf taster in partnership with Lynncare Foundation on the 24th of August 2019 at the Achimota Golf Range and follows with a thought leadership session at the Swiss Spirit Alisa Hotel on the 29th of August 2019. On the panel are industry leaders such as Mr. Frank Adu Jnr, Mr. Prince Kofi Amoabeng, Mr. Ben Barth, Mr. Kofi Agyei and Mr. O. Ofori Boateng.
Mr. Kwaku Asare Ofosuhene, who is the Head of Operations, West Africa explained that GEC believes business is beautiful when it’s a vehicle for serving the common good.

The coveted tournament will be played in two handicap categories with golfers vying for a once in a lifetime opportunity to represent Ghana at the world final – Dubai Corporate Golf World Cup. Two winners from Ghana will battle it out against top amateurs from around the world over two days at the Jumeriah Golf Club in March 2020.
