A goal in each half from striker Tahiru Awudu and defender Daniel Adrian Adjetey was all the Black Satellites needed to beat East Legon Division Two side White Wolves FC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday morning.
The game which served as a final preparatory game for the side ahead of their participation in the impending African Games soccer tournament in Rabat, Morocco which beings from August 16 to 30, gave the team handlers the chance to have a final look at their tactics and general readiness for the task ahead.
Medeama SC striker Awudu opened the scoring for the side mid-way through the first half after a free-kick from Ibrahim Sulley deflected onto his path, from which he rounded onrushing goalkeeper Shuaib Shariff before planting the ball into an empty net.
When all was pointing to a 1-0 win Adrian Adjetey converted a well-taken free-kick to increase the tally for the side.
The Amidaus Professionals star boy before that goal was knocking on the doors as he constantly threatened the goal area of the opponents.
Ghana has been drawn in the ‘group of death’ at the tournament alongside current African U20 Champions Senegal alongside Mali and Burundi.
