Accra Hearts of Oak registered their first win of the season when they beat visiting Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs 2-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Two set pieces by attackers Joseph Esso and Kofi Kordzi in the 29th and 56th minutes, respectively, gave the Phobia fans something to smile about and a vital three points after two successive losses.
Dwarfs grew into the game and made good use of the flanks as they wore Hearts down. In the 69th minute, substitute attacker Albert Ato Hammond was released in the Hearts area with only the goalkeeper to beat after splitting the Hearts defense open.

At the Akoon park inside Tarkwa, Karela United beat Inter Allies 2-1. Franklin Osei and Ofosu Abega scored both goals for the home team, whilst Victorien Adebayor recorded a consolation for Allies.
Dreams FC were held to a goalless drawn game by Legon Cities at the Dawu Park. The game between Sharks and WAFA also ended goalless.
